Sobre este ingrediente

Wild-harvested medicinal fungus (Inonotus obliquus) growing on Hokkaido birch trees. Hokkaido's white birch (shirakaba) forests are the only commercial chaga-harvesting region in Japan. Standardised hot-water and ethanol extracts are the basis of immune-support and antioxidant supplement positioning. Distinct from Russian and Korean chaga in birch-host species (B. pendula vs B. platyphylla in Hokkaido), giving the Hokkaido chaga a slightly different polysaccharide profile. Wild-harvest constraints make supply allocation-driven; sustainable forestry partnerships have emerged to ensure continuity.
