  Established as Okazaki Brewing Co., Ltd. in March 1952. Marsan Trading Co., Ltd. was founded in October 1961. The company was renamed Okazaki Marsan Co., Ltd. in September 1964 and launched Mix Miso. The head office factory was completed at its current location in Niki-cho, Okazaki in March 1972. A soymilk factory was constructed at the head office in April 1980. The company changed its name to Marsan AI Co., Ltd. in January 1983. American Soy Products Inc., a U.S. joint venture, was established in June 1985. JAS certification was obtained in January 1993. Following a merger, the new Marsan AI was launched in March 1995. The company listed on the Nagoya Stock Exchange Second Section in June 2001 and obtained ISO9001 certification in September 2001. Organic processed food production management certification was acquired in February 2002. The Soymilk Kanto Factory in Minakami, Gunma Prefecture was completed in March 2004. Domestically produced soybean adjusted soymilk, a food with functional claims, was launched in July 2005. Marsan Ai Food Trade Co., Ltd. (Shanghai) was established in March 2012. Almond Breeze was launched in September 2013. Marsan AI Tottori Co., Ltd. was established in January 2016. FSSC22000 certification was obtained in November 2016. The Marsan AI Tottori Soymilk Factory commenced operations in June 2017. The second distribution center was completed in February 2021. The company celebrated its 70th anniversary in March 2022. Alinova Canada Inc. was established in Ontario, Canada in May 2024.
