Company History of Kasei Kagaku Kogyo Co., Ltd.

Founded in June 1948, Hanaseika Chemical Industry began manufacturing and selling professional hair care products. In 1952, the company successfully developed aerosol hair lacquer and commenced in-house filling operations. A new factory was constructed in Suruga Ward, Shizuoka City in 1962, followed by the completion of a comprehensive aerosol manufacturing facility in 1967. In 1984, a GMP-compliant cosmetics and quasi-drug manufacturing plant was completed. The founder received the Minister of Health commendation in 1987. A GMP-compliant aerosol production facility was completed in 1991, and CIP/SIP cleaning systems were introduced in 2002. In 2013, blending equipment was expanded and ECOCERT certification was obtained, becoming the first aerosol manufacturing facility in Japan to achieve this certification.
