  BHN Co., Ltd. was established in November 1999 with the objective of OEM manufacturing and sales of health food products, with the opening of an Osaka business office. Operations commenced in January 2000. The company developed and launched Agaricus products in January 2001, followed by the activation of the Harima Production Development Center in June 2001. Akashōma extract products were developed and launched in January 2002. In September 2005, the head office relocated from Hitotsubashi to Kandanishikicho. The Harima Production Development Center was expanded with production equipment installation in March 2006. GMP certification for health food supplements was obtained in July 2007. In June 2010, the company acquired authorization for cosmetics manufacturing and sales, and obtained organic JAS certification in July 2010. A Thai subsidiary was established in September 2010, with the Thai factory relocated in May 2012. The Thai facility obtained GMP certification in December 2015. ISO22000 certification was acquired in September 2018, with the Thai facility following in November 2019. Management rights were transferred in September 2021. The Yokohama Laboratory was newly established in October 2023, and launched full-scale operations as the Yokohama Research and Development Center in January 2025.
