  Sato no Yuki Food Co., Ltd. was established as Sato no Yuki Tokushima Sales Co., Ltd. in 1973 and began tofu sales. In 1974, the company changed its name to Sato no Yuki Co., Ltd. and launched "Shin Momen Tofu." The trademark "Sato no Yuki" was registered in 1976, followed by the introduction of "Nigari-filled Tofu" in 1982. A Tokyo headquarters office was established in 1987, and "Silken Tofu" and "Shiki Tofu" were launched in 1992. The company changed its corporate name to Sato no Yuki Food Co., Ltd. in 1993 and declared the non-use of genetically modified soybeans in 1999. Exports of packaged tofu began in 2003, and the online shop "Otofu Takuhaibin" launched in 2007. "Oishii Tofu" and "Nabe Hachi" were released in 2010, with Nagoya and Shizuoka sales offices established in 2014. A food with functional claims, "Silken Tofu for Those Concerned About Post-Meal Blood Sugar and Triglycerides," was launched in 2017. The "Kandofu" brand started in 2019, followed by the introduction of room-temperature tofu "Zutto Oishii Tofu" in 2021. In 2023, the company celebrated its 50th anniversary and launched "SILKEN TOFU." Halal certification for SILKEN TOFU was obtained in 2024, and "Tofu Stick" was introduced in 2025.
