  Founded in 1935 by Yasaku Hotaiki as Hotaiki Beverage Works, the company was incorporated as Hotaiki Beverage Co., Ltd. in 1962. In 1968, Taguchi Factory was established and Hokukanto Beverage's carbonated beverage bottling plant was completed. Hokukanto Beverage's canned carbonation plant was completed in 1972, followed by the completion of Shiwa Factory in 1982 with glass bottle carbonation lines commencing operations. A PET bottle line was added to Shiwa Factory in 1990. Hokukanto Beverage changed its name to Hokukanto Pepsi-Cola Bottling in 1993. ISO9001:2000 certification was acquired in 2003, followed by the company's name change to Aseed Brew Co., Ltd. in 2004. In 2008, Utsunomiya Factory obtained a liqueur and spirits manufacturing license. The company joined the Aseed Group in 2011, obtained organic processed food certification, and acquired ISO14001/ISO22000 certifications at Utsunomiya Factory. FSSC22000:2010 certification was obtained in 2012, with FSSC22000 certification at Utsunomiya Factory following in 2017. A pouch line was established in 2018, which received FSSC22000/ISO22000 certifications in 2019. The company obtained spirits, whisky, and fruit wine manufacturing licenses in 2020. An organizational restructuring occurred in 2024 with Daisuke Kawamoto assuming the position of president. A new pouch line has been approved for establishment in 2025.
