  In 1996, Satis Pharmaceutical succeeded in developing a low-irritant skin cleanser through joint research with a national university medical faculty. The company commenced contract development of dermatological external preparations in Yoshikawa, Saitama Prefecture in 1998, was established as a corporation in December 1999, and began full-scale OEM manufacturing of basic cosmetics and quasi-drugs with factory setup in 2003. The company acquired its second and third factories through M&A in 2009 and relocated its headquarters to Nakai, Yoshikawa in 2011. Since the 2010s, Satis Pharmaceutical has continued developing proprietary ingredients and technologies including natural gel (Patent No. 4634030), plant-based antimicrobial agents (Patent No. 5019093), plant-derived human-identical ceramides, and thermal cleansing technology (Patent No. 6086462). The company further expanded its manufacturing footprint by acquiring a fourth factory in Nagano Prefecture in 2018 and a fifth factory in Saitama Prefecture in 2021 through M&A.
