  Chuo-Nippon Capsule Co., Ltd. was established in May 1996 and commenced soft capsule contract manufacturing operations. The company opened a Tokyo branch in 1997, obtained manufacturing licenses for soft drinks in 1998, and acquired approvals for confectionery, additives, and cosmetics manufacturing in 1999. Hard capsule contract manufacturing began in 2002, followed by expansion of the first factory and establishment of a development division in 2003. ISO9001 certification was acquired in 2005, and the second factory opened in 2007. The company received Health Supplement GMP certification in 2009, experienced a change of representative director in 2011, and opened the Yoro factory in 2012. ISO22000 certification was obtained in 2014, followed by BCP formulation and registration as a "Child-Rearing Support Company" by Gifu Prefecture in 2015. In 2019, the company acquired Resilience certification and completed construction of the third factory. A Vietnam liaison office was established in 2020, and in 2021, the company received "Gifu Health Management Certified Business" designation and joined RSPO. The company obtained SBT initiative certification and established subsidiary CJT VIETNAM in Vietnam in 2023. In 2024, it was recognized as one of "300 Promising Small and Medium-sized Enterprises," and received "Health Management Excellence Corporation" certifications in both 2025 and 2026.
