  Yaeshitsubaki Honpo was founded in 1904. Croisters Chemicals Co., Ltd. was established in August 1968, followed by the opening of the Hiratsuka Plant in 1972. In 1973, the company began odor measurement operations in partnership with the Japan Environmental Sanitation Center. The Development Department was established in 1974, and the Yaeshitsubaki Honpo Sales Division was absorbed in 1977. The bath additive brand "Mori no Izumi" was launched in 1984, and OEM operations for bath additives commenced in 1986. The company celebrated its 50th anniversary in August 2018.
