  Futaba Chemical Co., Ltd. was founded in 1946 and began soap manufacturing and sales operations. In October 1959, the company made emergency shipments of products to disaster relief efforts following the Ise Bay Typhoon. The company was reorganized as a corporation in 1961. In 1978, President Tetsuo Shimizu received the Minister of Industry Award. Libre Aloe Body Soap was launched in 1987. Livre Co., Ltd. (mail order division) was established in 1990, followed by the completion of the new head office building in November 1992. In 1994, President Tetsuo Shimizu received the Order of the Blue Ribbon. Soshin Co., Ltd. (trading division) was established in 1998. In 2003, Ayaka Shimizu assumed the position of President and the company was recognized as an Aichi Brand Enterprise. The Yuba Soy Milk Series received the Clean Award and the Japan Invention Association Chairman's Commendation Award in 2005. The company obtained ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications in 2008. The Nagoya No. 2 Factory was completed in March 2014. In 2016, Aloesio received the Japan Packaging Contest Award and the company celebrated its 70th anniversary. Daisuke Shimizu became President in 2018. The Clean Refre business was launched in 2020.
