Company History of Misho Co., Ltd.

  Founded in March 1980 in Asakusabashi, Taito Ward, Tokyo, Jissei Corporation initially engaged in the sales of health foods, health equipment, and cosmetics. In February 1986, the company relocated to Higashi-Nippori, Arakawa Ward, Tokyo, obtained cosmetics manufacturing permission, and began undertaking subcontract manufacturing for direct sales cosmetics. The head office and manufacturing facility were relocated to Umeda, Adachi Ward, Tokyo in July 1990. Operations in quasi-drug manufacturing commenced in January 1992. In February 1995, a new head office and manufacturing facility were constructed and relocated to 6-9-6 Umeda, Adachi Ward, Tokyo. In April 2004, the company obtained manufacturing and sales licenses for cosmetics and quasi-drugs under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law. In December 2005, ultrapure water generation equipment was installed. A solar power generation system was introduced in November 2012, followed by a three-chamber electrolyzed water generation system in October 2015 and a supercritical extraction system in January 2016. In October 2021, the company transitioned its power supply to 100% renewable energy. In October 2024, Jissei Corporation became a subsidiary of Air Brown Corporation.
