Company History of Nichiei Co., Ltd.

Nichiei was established in April 1970 as a cooperating company of the Hatsushiba Factory Sanitary Materials Division of Nichimen Corporation. In June 1977, the company took over the sanitary materials division and underwent capital increase and organizational restructuring. A new factory in Izumi, Osaka was completed and began operations in April 1998, expanding the headquarters function. Full-scale automated production of lotion-infused face masks commenced in April 1999. A cosmetics research laboratory was established in Yokohama in October 2004. The headquarters second factory underwent renovation and began operations in October 2005. Full-scale automated production of lotion-infused 3D face masks started in June 2009. The Rinku Factory was completed and became operational in November 2015. The Sennan Factory was completed and began operations in May 2018. ISO22716 certification was obtained in May 2023.
