Company History of Seven Chemical Co., Ltd.

Seven Seven was established in 1945. In 1953, the company obtained a domestic patent for powder foundation. Seven Chemicals Co., Ltd. was founded in Kashiwara, Osaka Prefecture in January 1961. The company acquired manufacturing approval for quasi-drugs in 1967. Takao Miyazoe assumed the position of president in 1976. In 1990, the company obtained three domestic patents for skin care cosmetics and completed construction of a new headquarters and factory. In 1993, the company introduced a microfluidizer to establish micro and nano-processing technology and was selected as an excellent tax filer. In 1995, the company obtained a U.S. patent for hair tonic and a European patent for skin care cosmetics. A domestic patent for hair tonic was acquired in 2001, followed by a European patent in 2003. Contract manufacturing services commenced in 2004. In 2005, the company obtained manufacturing and sales approval for cosmetics and quasi-drugs, and expanded its factory and warehouse facilities. Ken Miyazoe became president in 2017. ISO22716 certification was acquired in 2020. Yasushi Ago assumed the position of president in 2024.
