Company History of Taiki Co., Ltd.

  Founded as Nakamura Shoten in Kobe in 1930 (importing and processing sponges), the company relocated to the Osaka Miyakojima headquarters in 1950. Nakamura Bussan Co., Ltd. was established in 1960, and cosmetic implement production began with the opening of the Nishi-Nomiya Factory in 1961. Sank Co., Ltd. was established in 1976 with the opening of the Tokyo branch. The Osaka Factory obtained cosmetic manufacturing approval in 1981. LC Incorporated was founded in New Jersey, USA in 1987. Taiki Co., Ltd. was established in 1993, followed by the Osaka Factory obtaining quasi-drug manufacturing approval and the construction of the Kenac Sanyo Factory in Okayama in 1994. Taiki Manufacturing was established in Malaysia in 1997, Derville of France was acquired in 2003, and Taiki Cosmetics (Shanghai) was established in 2005. TIKG Singapore was founded in 2011, Taiki Cambodia in 2013, and TIKG Korea in 2014. In 2017, three companies merged, the headquarters relocated, and the R&I Center opened. Unos obtained ISO22716 (Cosmetics GMP) certification in 2019. The Okayama SCM Center was newly established in 2020, marking the company's 90th anniversary. A new representative director and president took office in 2023. In 2025, the Tokyo branch and Shanghai/Singapore offices are scheduled to relocate.
