1. Founded in 1969 as Tamura Shoten Corporation
2. the company was established as a legal entity in 1973 and began selling seasonings as an authorized distributor of Ajinomoto. The company name was changed to Tamura Corporation in 1980. A packaging and processing factory was established in Tano-tsu
