Company History of Vitalis Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.

Vitalis Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was established in April 1935. In June 1938, the company opened its Tokyo Sales Office in Shibuya Ward and constructed the No. 2 Factory. The No. 3 Factory was built in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture in March 1940. In January 1955, the company obtained a pharmaceutical manufacturing license and launched Neo-Orthol. Cosmetics manufacturing commenced in April 1960, followed by the launch of Aurora skincare products in May 1961. The male external hormone ointment Ottopin was released in October 1962. OEM manufacturing operations began in June 1984, and a manufacturing patent for Calopeptide was obtained in November 1986. In January 2000, the company changed its name from Ottoseal Pharmaceutical to Pro-Seal Co., Ltd., and merged with Ecopack Co., Ltd. in July 2000. A new manufacturing patent for Calopeptide was acquired in March 2001. The company reverted to the name Vitalis Pharmaceutical in March 2006. In March 2018, the agency business operations commenced, and BPO services began in January 2023.
