1. Founded in April 1952 in Omiya as Yokomizo Oil & Fat Store
2. the company began with edible oil trading. In May 1961
3. Yokomizo Oil & Fat Store Ltd. was established to commence meat product wholesale operations. The company name changed to Yokomizo Ltd. in May 1963 with three new meat sales outlets established. Manufacturing and sales of prepared foods including dumplings
4. shumai
5. and meatballs began in April 1965. A main factory (594 m²) with complete freezing facilities was established in April 1972
6. followed by a second factory in Segasaki
7. Urawa in April 1988. The company restructured as Yokomizo Co.
8. Ltd. in April 1993 and opened a new factory in Sanjo-cho
9. Nishi Ward
10. Saitama in July 2002. Capital was increased to 50 million yen in September 2003. The company received certification as a recognized factory of the Japan Frozen Foods Association in May 2009
