  Founded in March 1957 as a ponzu specialty shop in Moriguchi, Osaka by Tokuzo Nakahashi, Daitoku Co., Ltd. was established in April 1967. In September 1972, the related company Sanei Co., Ltd. was established to form a two-company structure (renamed to Sanko Co., Ltd. in January 1980). Following changes in representative leadership in 1993, 2002, and 2003, the headquarters relocated to Shinbashitera-cho, Moriguchi in April 2000. In 2007, the development of tade vinegar made without colorants was approved by the Osaka Prefectural Governor, leading to business expansion including product development utilizing Moriguchi daikon, a traditional Naniwa vegetable, the launch of dilutable beverage sales, and the commencement of handling food raw materials and food additives.
