  Founded as Toyo Food in 1959, the Matsumoto Plant began operations in 1960. The company changed its name to Goldpack in 1964 and commenced manufacturing vegetable beverages in 1966, followed by the commercialization of carrot juice in 1974. A second food factory was opened in Matsumoto in 1987, and the Azumino Plant commenced operations in 1991, with additional facilities completed in 1999. Goldpack merged with Nichiro Sunpack in 2014 and completed a juice extraction facility in 2017. The company is scheduled to merge with AW Water Co., Ltd. in October 2025.
