  Founded in January 1958 and incorporated as Yugenkaisha Nakada Food in April 1965. The company entered tokorten (vermicelli) manufacturing in 1968. In 1988, the headquarters and factory were relocated to the Nishi-Obihiro Industrial Park (current location). Tofu and fried tofu production commenced in 1989, followed by contract soybean cultivation with local farmers starting in 1990. The company's basic policy was revised to 'Living with the Community' in 1995. The smoked tofu product 'Tofu-kun' was launched in 2006, and the company received the Special Award at the Hokkaido Good Design Competition in 2007. Hokkaido's own certification system 'Kirarisup' was acquired in 2013, and Hokkaido HACCP certification was obtained in 2015 (the second tofu manufacturer in the prefecture to do so). In 2016, Takeshi Kito assumed the position of Representative Director and Chairman, and Taketoshi Kito became Representative Director and President.

• received the Special Award at the Hokkaido Souvenir Competition for 'Tofu-kun Jerky'. Won the 'Manufacturing Collaboration Award' from the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun in 2011. Acquired the Hokkaido indigenous food certification system 'Kirarisup' in 2013. Obtained Hokkaido HACCP certification in 2015 for the tofu production line (second case in Hokkaido).
