  Founded as a sole proprietorship by Haruyuki Takada in May 1970, Nissin Kagaku was established as a corporation in December 1971. The company began manufacturing aerosol products at its Wakayama Plant in May 1972. In January 1984, the Tondabayashi Plant was newly constructed. The new Wakayama Plant was completed and commenced operations in December 1987. A GMP-compliant cosmetics manufacturing dedicated facility (Building 2) was completed in March 1996. ISO9001 certification was obtained in July 1999, followed by ISO14001 certification in February 2001. Hiroshi Takada became president in April 2002. The Hashimoto Plant was completed in March 2012. ISO22716 certification was acquired in May 2014, with the Tondabayashi Plant obtaining ISO22716 certification in July 2015. The Tokyo Sales Office was opened in November 2017. The headquarters and research facility relocated to Kutaro-cho, Chuo-ku, Osaka in March 2018. The company transitioned to ISO45001 certification in April 2021. In January 2024, Nissin Kagaku acquired Bodibasixs Manufacturing in Malaysia.
