  Seven Seas Corporation was established in March 1993, followed by the establishment of Toyo Shinyaku Co., Ltd. in September 1997. In 2001, the company opened a Tokyo branch and completed the construction of its headquarters and Tosu Plant 1. In 2002, it obtained Japan's first FOSHU approval for a barley grass juice product. By 2005, Toyo Shinyaku achieved the highest number of FOSHU approvals in Japan, established Taisho Active Health Co., Ltd., and completed Tosu Plant 2. In 2007, the company exceeded 100 FOSHU approvals. In 2010, it surpassed 200 FOSHU approvals. In 2012, Tosu Plant became the first comprehensive contract manufacturer to register with NSF International GMP. In 2013, the company achieved the top annual ranking in approved quasi-drug products. Kumamoto Plant 2 was completed in 2017, followed by the completion of Intelligence Park Plant 1 in 2019. In 2020, the company obtained FSSC22000 certification and established Toyo Foods Co., Ltd. In 2022, Kumamoto Plant obtained FSSC22000 certification. In 2023, Intelligence Logistics facility was completed. In 2024, Toyo Shinyaku obtained Japan's first approval for a quasi-drug product combining four active ingredients. In 2025, the company received the Chairman's Award for Excellence in Energy Management from the Kyushu Electric Power Efficiency Enhancement Council. Plans for solar panel installation are scheduled for 2026.
