  Mitake Food Industry Co., Ltd. was established as a corporation in June 1959, succeeding Takeuchi Shoten, with its office set up in Toda, Saitama Prefecture. In 1972, the Tokai Sales Office opened in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture. The company constructed a new headquarters building in Toda in 1984. Patents were obtained in 1989 for 'Manufacturing Method of Low-Bacterial-Count Roasted Grain Flour' and in 1991 for 'Sesame Products Primarily Composed of Ground Sesame.' Hideyo Takeuchi assumed the position of representative director and president in 1997. In 1999, non-genetically modified soybeans were established as contractual raw materials with direct delivery from the producing region. OMIC certification as an organic agricultural product processing food manufacturer was acquired in 2001. The new Kohoku factory was completed in 2002, followed by the establishment of the Komane factory and acquisition of ISO9001 certification in 2007. Rice flour manufacturing equipment was completed in 2010. In 2018, the company obtained FSSC22000 certification and established Echigo Shiratama Honten Co., Ltd. A new headquarters building was constructed at the current location in 2019. Takeharu Hatta assumed the position of representative director and president in 2021. The new rice flour factory at the Kohoku plant was completed in 2022.
