Company History of Bell Farm Co., Ltd.

  Bell Farm Corporation began in 1980 with the development of juice extractors for green juice beverages and manufacturing of household manual juicers. The company was founded in 1989, with its representative entering agriculture to cultivate vegetables without pesticides and chemical fertilizers. In 1993, test production of kale leaves commenced in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, and Bell Farm agricultural park was established. A green juice extraction factory was built in Ushiku City, Ibaraki in May 1994. The company changed its name to Limited Company Technical Service in 1996, completed a frozen green juice manufacturing factory in 2001, and registered "Bell Farm" as a trademark in 2003. In 2004, it obtained agricultural cooperative legal entity status, and in 2005 acquired new factory land and began manufacturing and selling carrot juice. The company name was changed to Agricultural Production Corporation Bell Farm in July 2007. A new factory was completed in Shimoiwasaki, Tsukuba City, Ibaraki in October 2008. In March 2010, it was recognized as a HACCP certified facility, and in December 2010 received the Excellence Award at the Ibaraki Business Plan Contest. A vegetable juice extractor patent was granted in June 2014. In December 2016, a new automatic vegetable juice extractor was introduced, establishing full automation operations. Organic JAS certification (organic agricultural product production process manager) was obtained in October 2021, followed by organic JAS certification (organic processed food production process manager) in December 2023.
