Company History of Nagano Kouno Co., Ltd.

  Nagano Kono Corporation was established in June 1964 within the Nagano Suwa Agricultural Cooperative Federation's Furusato Factory. The Ashimori Plant (Nagano Plant) commenced full-scale operations in July 1965. The company began processing mushroom products in November 1965, relocated its headquarters to Ashimori in June 1966, and introduced large-scale juice manufacturing equipment in 1967. The Suzaka Plant was completed in 1988, followed by the opening of a Tokyo office in 1990. In 1994, the company relocated juice extraction equipment to the Suzaka Plant, opened an Osaka office, and celebrated its 30th anniversary. PET bottle beverage production commenced at the Kawanakajima Plant in April 1999. ISO9001:2000 certification was obtained in November 2007, and in May 2010, headquarters functions were transferred to the Kawanakajima Plant. A new glass bottle beverage line was introduced at the Suzaka Plant in August 2011, followed by FSSC22000 certification acquisition in December 2013. The company marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 and launched the new brand 'Grin a Grin' in April 2019.
