Central Corporation was established in September 1980. In 1985, the company pioneered small-batch manufacturing of 100 units in the industry. In 1990, a skin analysis research laboratory was established with an original computer system developed in-house. In October 2008, the company began manufacturing growth factor raw materials such as EGF and established nanotechnology liposome technology. In December 2011, it received the Social and Cultural Achievement Award from Hiroshi Fushimi, a member of the former imperial family. In October 2018, the company obtained approval for pharmaceutical quasi-drug manufacturing and sales. In May 2022, the company became the first in Japan to register the display name for umbilical cord blood-derived stem cell exosomes.
