Company History of Fujisco Co., Ltd.

Founded in June 1957 as Fuji Brewing Co., Ltd. (有限会社冨士醸造) with capital of ¥1 million. In January 1961, the company relocated its factory to Funakoshi-cho, Hiroshima City, followed by capital increases to ¥1.5 million in August 1961, ¥3 million in 1964, ¥6 million in 1969, and ¥15 million in 1976. In November 1976, the company rebuilt its headquarters factory and first warehouse at the current location. The organization was restructured to Fujisco Co., Ltd. in February 1992, with the headquarters factory expanded and capital increased to ¥25 million in June 1995. A second warehouse was constructed in November 2000, and a dual-capacity filling machine for 1-liter and 500ml bottles was introduced in February 2004. The company received commendations for food hygiene excellence from the Japan Food Hygiene Association in October 2005 and from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare in October 2009. A liqueur manufacturing license was obtained in February 2011, and FSSC22000 certification was acquired in April 2018.
