Company History of JA Foods Oita Co., Ltd.

  Operations commenced in November 1972 as the Kitsuki Plant of the Oita Prefecture Fruit Agricultural Cooperative Federation. A pulp juice filling line was newly installed in December 1977, followed by aseptic filling equipment in December 1984. In April 1991, the company introduced a fully automatic sterilization and cooling retort facility, and JAF Oita Corporation was established in December 1991. Vegetable juice extraction began in May 1993. A bottle-can line (compatible with PET bottles) was newly installed in March 2001, and a residue compost processing plant was expanded in March 2003. In February 2005, a second bottle-can line for retort and solid-content filling was established. Equipment for solid-content filling was expanded in April 2012, and FSSC22000 and ISO9001 certifications were acquired in December 2013.
