Company History of Nihon Kohso Yakuhin Co., Ltd.

Sakai Enzyme Laboratory was established in August 1940 and launched the enzyme digestive drug 'Papana Tablets'. In July 1947, it was renamed Sakai Enzyme Industrial Works and released Parisbahn Medicinal Washing Powder. In July 1947, the company was reorganized as Nihon Kouso Yakuhin Co., Ltd. with a capital of 1.5 million yen and relocated its factory to the present location. In 1955, Parisbahn 'Enzyme Hot Spring Bath Salt (Yu no Hana)' was launched as a quasi-drug. In 1956, the ryokan 'Shindenn' was established and capital was increased to 4.5 million yen. In September 1964, Marumatsu Co., Ltd. was renamed Parisbahn Sales Co., Ltd. In April 1968, 'Shindenn' was acquired through merger and capital was increased to 7.5 million yen. In 1978, Nihon Kouso Food Research Institute (Limited Company) was established. In November 1982, a new GMP-compliant factory was completed with an expansion of the development department. In 1986, capital was increased to 20 million yen. In 1988, a new GMP-compliant bath additive dedicated factory was established and the Kakayu Series was launched. In 1994, the Hana no Yu Series was released.
