Company History of Nishiki Food Co., Ltd.

Founded in Sendai in March 1939 by Kanichi Nishiki, the company was incorporated as Nishiki Food Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in March 1952. Retort sterilization equipment was introduced in June 1975. The company name was changed to Nishiki Foods Inc. in March 2012, and the original brand was renewed to 'NISHIKIYA KITCHEN' in March 2021. The Kuukou-Minami Daini Factory was completed in November 2022, and the Aeon Mall Natori store opened in April 2025.
