Founded in 1960, Sanshō Seiyaku relocated its headquarters in 1971. In 1988, its Koji acid received approval as the first quasi-drug whitening ingredient in Japan. The company launched its mail-order brand 'Delmed' in 1993, obtained ISO9001 certification in 1999, and acquired COSMOS certification in 2019. The Saga Factory Building B expansion was completed in 2021, followed by ISO22716 certification in 2022.
