Company History of Sunpalco Co., Ltd.

Established as Pariseban Co., Ltd. in August 1957, the company relocated its head office to newly constructed premises in Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto in November 1974. The Uji Plant was established in Uji, Kyoto in December 1977, followed by the relocation and expansion to a newly built Joyo Plant in Joyo, Kyoto in April 1981. In October 1982, the company name was changed to Sanparco Co., Ltd. The Joyo Plant was further expanded with new construction in April 1984. The Yamashina Plant was established in Yamashina Ward, Kyoto in August 1987. Subsequent facility expansions included a high-speed six-cavity form-fill-seal powder filling line in April 1991, a liquid bottle filling machine in December 1994, two additional effervescent tablet presses in March 2005, and a compact effervescent tablet press in November 2014. In November 2023, Sanparco completed the absorption and merger of Dr. Consultant Co., Ltd., adjusting its capital to 50 million yen.
