1. Tsuruy Seika Co.
2. Ltd. was founded in 1954 as a confectionery retail business in Nishi-Nari Ward
3. Osaka
4. and transitioned to confectionery manufacturing in 1959. The company relocated to Uchiyabure
5. Hirano Ward
6. Osaka in 1970
7. and began manufacturing and selling traditional Japanese confectionery gifts in 1979. In 1982
8. the company shifted entirely to confectionery gift production
9. launching brands such as "Aji no Oguri" and "Ume no Utage." A filling line was installed at the headquarters factory in 1986
10. with the jelly gift product "Hohosei Fūki" launched and a factory expansion opened in Tōri-Onono
