  Nagano Kouno Co., Ltd. was established in June 1964 with its headquarters in Shimokozawa, Nagano City. The Nagano Plant was completed in July 1965, with enoki mushroom processing commencing in November of the same year. In June 1966, the headquarters relocated to Amori, Nagano City. Large-scale juice manufacturing equipment was introduced in 1967. The Suzaka Plant was completed in 1988, followed by the opening of the Tokyo Sales Office in 1990. In 1994, the company relocated juice extraction equipment to the Suzaka Plant, constructed a refrigerated warehouse, opened the Osaka Sales Office, and celebrated its 30th anniversary. In April 1996, the company installed pouch beverage manufacturing equipment with flip-top caps. PET bottle beverage manufacturing operations commenced in April 1999 in Aokishima-cho, Nagano City (currently the Kawanakajima Plant). ISO9001:2000 certification was acquired in November 2007. In 2010, the headquarters functions were transferred to the Kawanakajima Plant. A new bottled beverage line was introduced at the Suzaka Plant in August 2011. FSSC22000 certification was obtained in December 2013. The company celebrated its 50th anniversary in January 2014. In April 2019, the new brand "Grin a Grin" was launched and "Shinshu Marugoto Apple Juice" was released.
