  株式会社ジュポンインターナショナル was established in July 1976. In April 1990, Yoshiro Kamioka assumed the position of representative director. The company established 株式会社ジュポンコーポレーション in July 1991 and 株式会社鹿児島ジュポン in March 1992. Development of additive-free cosmetics commenced in April 1992, followed by the establishment of 株式会社ロマニィ in February 1993. OEM operations began in June 1995. Subsequent facility expansions included the completion of the Utsunomiya Kawada Plant in November 2003, the Chiba Plant in April 2006, and the Yokota Plant in October 2009. An office was opened in Guangzhou, China in April 2011. The company obtained Ecocert certification in February 2013 and began manufacturing organic cosmetics. A patent for the Sydynorol manufacturing process was acquired in March 2016. The Izumo Plant was established in October 2018, followed by the Utsunomiya Joseinan Plant in December 2018. The Second Research Institute was newly established in April 2020. The Utsunomiya Yonan Plant was completed in October 2023 and commenced operations in January 2024.
