  Minami Nihon Rakuno Kyodo Co., Ltd. was established in Miyakonojo City, Himeshiro Town in 1960. The company opened sales offices in Kagoshima and Miyazaki in 1962, established the Kagoshima Factory in Aira Town in 1966, and opened the Oshima Factory in Asemi, Naze City in 1967. An Osaka sales office was opened in 1968, followed by the Kanoya Factory in Kanoya City in 1969 where fruit sours were first launched. The Osaka Research Laboratory was established and 'Skoll' was developed in 1971, with sales commencing in 1972 after the Tokyo office opened. The Miyakonojo Factory was newly built in Takagi Town, Miyakonojo City in 1976. Sales offices were subsequently opened in Fukuoka in 1977 and Okinawa in 1978. In 1982, the company absorbed and merged Tanegashima Rakuren Factory and opened the Kumamoto sales office. The Hidaka Factory was acquired in 1987, and the new Tanegashima Factory was completed in 1988. The Kagoshima Factory closed in 1990, and the head office building was completed in 1991. The Tanegashima Factory closed in 2007 and the Okinawa sales office closed in 2008. In 2024, the new Dessert Building was completed and Dairi Sales was absorbed and merged.
