  Founded in 1931 when founder Masayoshi Matsuda purchased one bee colony to begin beekeeping operations, the company expanded to 50 colonies by 1936 and commenced migratory beekeeping. In 1943, Toa Beekeeping was established with operations in Manchuria. Quinbee Garden Beekeeping Industrial Cooperative was established in 1946, followed by the relocation of apiaries to Taiki, Hokkaido in 1948 and the opening of a Tokyo Nihonbashi branch office. The company developed a mass production method for royal jelly in 1953 and began royal jelly production in Shimizu City in 1956. By 1980, the company achieved Japan's leading royal jelly production volume. Quinbee Garden began selling Disney character honey in 1988, opened a sweets shop inside Shinagawa Station in 2005, and launched propolis business operations in 2008. The company celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2011, relocated its headquarters and opened a new store in Tsukiji in 2018, and acquired Snoopy licensing rights in 2019.
