  Tomouso Beverage commenced operations as a soft drink manufacturer in May 1902. The company was reorganized as a limited liability company in April 1966, obtained JAS-certified factory authorization in 1975, initiated ODM (product commercialization support) services in 2000, and transitioned to a joint-stock company in March 2001 with increased capital of 10 million yen. The company obtained alcoholic beverage manufacturing licenses (liqueur category) in 2002, established a Tokyo office in 2005, increased capital by 30 million yen in 2007, opened an Osaka office in 2011, and commenced operations at the Ogi Factory in 2012. The Carbonated Life Research Institute was established in 2014, while HACCP certification was obtained and the Ogi Factory No. 2 commenced operations in 2015, along with the operation of the Kiso-Kaida Factory in Nagano Prefecture. Tomouso Holdings was founded in 2017, and the company obtained a comprehensive alcoholic beverage wholesale license in 2018. The Fujisan Factory in Yamanashi Prefecture began operations in 2020. A Tokyo sales office was established in Nagoya in 2021, followed by a second production line at the Fujisan Factory in 2022. A Hiroshima office opened in 2023, with the Amagi Factory in Fukuoka Prefecture set to commence operations in 2025 and a Sendai office planned for 2026.
