  Tsukuba Dairy commenced milk production in December 1941 and transitioned to dairy product manufacturing in September 1945, beginning production of powdered milk, butter, and condensed milk. The company expanded its Ishioka powdered milk factory in September 1961, opened its Tokyo sales office in December 1967, and Osaka sales office in May 1968. Operations at the Tamari factory began in February 1973, followed by a capital partnership with Seiei Food Industry in March 1973. A Sendai sales office opened in September 1979. In January 1982, the Tamari factory's mixed packaging facility was established, and a powdered milk manufacturing facility was added in August 1982. An LL processing facility was established at the Tamari factory in March 1988. A small-scale dryer was installed at the Ishioka factory in March 1998, followed by the commencement of nut processing operations in March 2001. A second dryer facility was established in March 2004. The company obtained ISO9001 certification for all product lines in April 2009 and opened a Kyushu branch office in April 2010. The Tamari factory's LL line and dairy product line received ISO22000 and FSSC22000 certifications in July and November 2012, respectively. In April 2013, the sales headquarters was relocated to Soto-Kanda, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, and a spout pouch condensed milk manufacturing facility was installed at the Ishioka factory in July 2013. The Tamari factory's second dryer and blending line obtained ISO22000 and FSSC22000 certifications in June 2015. A water-tube boiler facility was installed at the Ishioka factory in September 2018. In July 2020, the head office was relocated, and wastewater treatment facilities at the Tamari factory were expanded in October 2020.
