The company was founded in 1945 when its first president commenced milk processing and distribution operations. It was formally incorporated as a joint-stock company in September 1951. Yogurt production began in 1955. The Narita Plant was newly established in 1991 to expand manufacturing capacity. Hirohiko Furutani assumed the position of third president in 2014. In 2021, the company obtained FSSC22000 certification and further strengthened its food safety management system.
