1. Founded in 1805
2. 有限会社重久盛一酢醸造場 was established as Shigehisa Seiichi Shouten in 1958 and obtained mash manufacturing licensing in 1964. The company presented its products to Emperor and Empress at the 1972 National Sports Festival. It was incorporated as a limited liability company in 1983
3. received JAS certification as an approved factory in 1993
4. and saw its black vinegar recognized as Geographical Indication (GI) No. 7 in 2015. The company obtained manufacturing patent No. 6784359 in 2020 and was featured on Nippon Television's "Mantenblueski Restaurant" program in 2022.
