Founded in Fukuyama City in 1869, the company was incorporated in 1952. It expanded into the vegetable and fruit chips business in 1986 and began manufacturing bamboo charcoal beans in 2002. Mame-Toku flagship store opened in 2005. The company obtained HACCP and ISO9001 certifications in 2010, followed by the establishment of Ise Mame-Toku Co., Ltd. in 2013. ISO22000 certification was acquired in 2016, and the Daimon Factory was completed in 2018. FSSC22000 certification was obtained in 2019. Mame-Toku Asakusa store opened in 2020, and the Shimanami Nuts Farm Project commenced in 2022.
