  Goyo Food Industry Co., Ltd. was established in May 1975 as a natural cheese processor. In August 1979, the headquarters and factory relocated to Kamomuta, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. In August 1980, the company moved to Higashi-Naka, Hakata Ward, and began manufacturing Western pastries. A pizza crust manufacturing line was introduced in September 1983. Following a management crisis, the company underwent a second founding under its current representative in November 2000, establishing Quality Day. ISO9001 certification was obtained in July 2005. In December 2006, a location agreement was signed with Itoshima City. The company received a Monde Selection Gold Award in May 2008 and opened its e-commerce site "Sweets Laboratory 10-CUT" in October 2008. ISO27001 certification was acquired in June 2009. A new headquarters and factory were established in Itoshima City in February 2010. The company won the FVM Award 2011 in December 2010 and listed on the TOKYO AIM Exchange in May 2012, subsequently transitioning to TOKYO PRO Market in July 2012. Additional Monde Selection Gold Awards were received in May 2013 and May 2017. Export to Thailand commenced in May 2014. Goyo Food Industry was selected as one of 300 Promising Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in May 2016. The company received the FY2017 Furusato Company Award (Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Award) in October 2017 and was designated as a Regional Future-Leading Company in December 2017. FSSC22000 certification was obtained in March 2019. Local production in Thailand and sales at all Seven-Eleven stores began in July 2020. The company became a consolidated subsidiary of Mitsui & Co., Ltd. in December 2021, was delisted in March 2022, and transferred its shares to Bussan Food Material Co., Ltd. in April 2024.
