  Heiwa Food Industry Co., Ltd. traces its origins to 1931 when curry manufacturing commenced in Koishikawa Haramachi, Bunkyo Ward. The company was renamed Kinkei Shokai in 1937 and relocated its factory to Shibuya Ward. It was incorporated as a joint-stock company with capital of 500,000 yen in October 1947. Kinkei Food Industry was established in December 1956, followed by factory construction in Soka City in November 1968. The company adopted its current name in April 1971 following a merger with Heiwa Food Industry Co., Ltd. The headquarters relocated to Aoba-dai, Meguro Ward in August 1986, then to Todoroki, Setagaya Ward in July 2002. In April 2003, the company assumed operation of a food manufacturing facility in Chiyoda, Sakado City through a business transfer. ISO22000 certification was obtained in August 2008. Shoji Morimura assumed the position of Representative Director and President in June 2021.
