  Founded in December 1934 as Omuta Milk Co., Ltd. by 14 dairy farmers in the Omuta and Arao regions, the company began selling homogenized milk in wide-mouth bottles using low-temperature pasteurization in 1951. School lunch milk supply commenced in 1958, followed by the establishment of a new factory and office in Ichiura-cho, Omuta in 1959. The company changed its name to Ohm Dairy Co., Ltd. in 1965 and began full-scale whipped cream manufacturing in 1971. The Clean Pack System was established in 1979 with the launch of Pure Cream, and mass-market private label milk supply started in 1980. Ultra-filtration system installation and natural cheese production began in 1987, the Kanto Plant opened in 1995, and the head office factory relocated with a transition to business-use dairy manufacturing in 1998. HACCP certification was obtained in 1999, ISO14001 in 2005, and ISO9001 in 2007. In 2012, the company became part of the Fuji Oil Group following 100% stock transfer to Fuji Oil Co., Ltd. Production lines were reorganized in 2013, and Crème Soinier was launched in 2016.
