  Founded in 1940 as Murai Factory under Nagano Prefecture Cooperative Sales Association, the company transitioned to Nagano Prefecture Economic Agricultural Cooperative Union (Keizai-ren) in 1950. Nagano Tomato Corporation was established in 1957, followed by the launch of "Nagano Gold Ketchup," Japan's first colorant-free tomato ketchup, in 1959. Manufacturing of nameko mushroom tea-over-rice commenced in 1964. The headquarters factory (Plant 1) was constructed in 1971, and Plant 2 in 1974. A business partnership with Kirin Brewery was established in 1976, with Matsumoto Factory built in 1979. In 1983, the company received a commendation from the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries as an excellent food industry enterprise. A new ketchup and pillow line was installed at the headquarters factory in 1985. The company changed its name to Nagano Tomato Corporation in 1995. In 1999, logistics operations were consolidated and a new cup portion line was added to the headquarters factory. Shinshu Beverage Corporation was established through corporate division in 2010, and a capital and business partnership with Nippon Flour Mills was formed in 2013. FSSC22000 certification was obtained in 2017, and Plant 2 was rebuilt in 2020.
