The company also accepts contract manufacturing in small lots, which major factories cannot accommodate.   Tooba Trading was established in October 1985 as an import and sales company specializing in Turkish carpets and handicrafts. The company was incorporated as Tooba Trading with capital of 3 million yen in November 1988, with Necidet Demurlek assuming the position of representative director and president. A subsidiary, Fatex Corporation, was established in Istanbul, Turkey in January 1991. In May 1992, "Turkey Hall" opened in Sagae, Yamagata Prefecture, offering Turkish folk crafts and tea service. The Turkish restaurant "SOFRA" opened in Kagurazaka, Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo in October 1995. Capital was increased to 30 million yen in June 1997. In February 1998, the company obtained a license for wholesale distribution of imported alcoholic beverages. The Turkish ice cream factory "Dondurman" opened in Fujimidai, Nerima Ward in February 2006. A Turkish fast-food outlet "Mrs. Istanbul" opened at Haneda Airport Terminal 2 in October 2010. The halal food manufacturing division "KITCHEN HALAL WORLD" was established in February 2015. In August 2016, the KITCHEN HALAL WORLD factory relocated to Minamidenaka, Nerima Ward. The headquarters relocated to Fujimidai, Nerima Ward in September 2017. A store opened at SOLEIL Hibiya OKUROJI in September 2020. Following expansion of manufacturing operations, the headquarters relocated to Yagihara, Nerima Ward in October 2022.
