  Founded in 1877 (Meiji 10) by Moritarō Arioka as Ebisu Shoyu Miso Brewing Works under the shop name 'Ebisu-sama', the company established a factory in Futsukaichi Honmachi (now Futsukaichi Chuo), Chikushino City in 1892. The aging facility was rebuilt in 1998 under the fourth-generation leadership of Kenji Arioka. In February 2017, the company launched its e-commerce site 'Ebisu-tei'.
