Company History of Maruei Seifun Co., Ltd.

1. The company commenced operations of a wheat flour milling plant at Niigata Port Central Wharf in October 1947 with a daily production capacity of 30 tons. It underwent organizational restructuring into a joint-stock company in May 1961 with a capital of 5 million yen
2. followed by a capital increase to 7.5 million yen in July 1963. A new factory was constructed in Kameda in August 1965
3. expanding daily production capacity to 110 tons
4. with a subsequent capital increase to 15 million yen in September 1965. A dried noodle factory was built in August 1988 with a daily capacity of 10 tons. The company obtained ISO 9001 certification in November 2007
5. introduced stone mill grinding equipment in November 2008
6. and acquired FSSC 22000 certification in October 2016.
