1. Yamashiroyo Co.
2. Ltd. was established in Nakagyō Ward
3. Kyoto in December 1948 to manufacture and sell spices. In May 1962
4. a manufacturing facility was constructed in Ōe Nakayamachō
5. Nishikyō Ward
6. Kyoto (current location) and production operations were relocated there. Nihon Choumi Shokuhin Co.
7. Ltd. was founded in May 1967 to begin manufacturing and selling business-use powdered seasonings. In April 1973
8. a retort sterilization line was installed and retort-processed food manufacturing commenced. In August 1975
9. the company completed the industry's first 200g standing pouch
10. followed by the first 1kg bag in March 1977. A dedicated retort food manufacturing facility was completed in March 1978. In July 1980
